A five-part documentary series that tells stories of love, youth, pain, and learning through the lives of a group of elderly men and women living in Argelia and its surrounding rural, mountainous region in northern Valle del Cauca, Colombia. Marina, Arnulfo, Ramón, Dignora, Magola, Blanca, and Elvia are all over 80 years old and have spent their entire lives in these highlands, sheltered by the green mantle of the Andes.

The series contrasts the simplicity of childhood mischief, first love, and joy with the violence they have witnessed, the loneliness endured, and the pain of those they have lost. Through their voices and memories, it offers an intimate portrait of aging in community and seeks to tell the story of a universal village.
